Bea Narbaiza Amillategi (Ermua, 1968) Graduated in Journalism and Doctor in Audiovisual Communication and Advertising (UPV/EHU). She is a lecturer at the UPV/EHU in the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising.

She is a member of NOR Research Group and she has been working in areas connected with the social influence of media, audiovisual consumption and minority languages. She has been a researcher in projects related to transmediality and in works focused on the use of ICT and online resources as well as on audiovisual consumption by young people. She is currently one of the main researchers of the Applika+ project. She has several publications and has participated in international conferences.

She is director of the official master’s degree Multimedia Komunikazioa UPV/EHU-EITB. Member of the administrative council in the X and XI legislatures.
